Princess Kate undergoes abdominal surgery

The Royal Family announced Wednesday that Catherine, the Princess of Wales, was hospitalized on Tuesday for a planned abdominal surgery. Representatives for the princess, formerly known as Kate Middleton, said the surgery was successful.
