India Industrial Production Grows Less Than Expected

India's industrial production growth slowed more than expected in September, preliminary figures from the statistics ministry showed Friday. The industrial production index rose 5.8 percent year-on-year after a 10.3 percent increase in August. Economists had forecast 7.0 percent growth.
