Massive fire destroying landmark World War II-era blimp hangar in Tustin

As soon as he heard that one of the historic World War II-era blimp hangars in Tustin had caught fire Tuesday morning, John Gaita drove from Laguna Niguel to see it for himself. Gaita was stationed at the former Tustin Air Base in the 1990s while he served in the Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot.
