CUMBERLAND – Bez Mendelsohn scored in each half and Landon Dominski made six saves Friday as Greely defeated Yarmouth 2-0 in a Western Maine Conference boys’ soccer opener. Mendelsohn received a through pass from Cade Potts and scored after 24 minutes. He then scored on a breakaway with 29 minutes remaining. Ian O’Connor stopped four shots for the Clippers.
