Dad dies from same disease that killed his 3 children: ‘Indescribable pain’

A Brazilian father who lost three children to cancer has tragically died of the same hereditary disease. Régis Feitosa Mota, 53, was born with Li-Fraumeni syndrome, a condition that increases the chances of developing cancerous tumors, Jam Press reports. The lifetime risk of developing cancer is 70% for men and 90% for women. People with the disorder may be stricken with more than one cancer in their lifetime.
