Booksellers, authors, publishers sue Texas over book-rating law

A coalition of booksellers, authors and publishers are suing Texas over its new law restricting library school books. The complaint, filed Tuesday in an Austin federal court, argues the law is unconstitutional. Plaintiffs, including two Texas bookstores and several national organizations, seek to block the law from taking effect on Sept. 1. House Bill 900 — which was signed into law by Republican Gov.
