Mayor Adams agrees to let some NYC employees work from home twice a week

Thousands of New York City municipal employees will soon be able to work from home twice a week under a deal reached Wednesday between Mayor Adams and the city’s largest public sector union. Adams, who up until recently was a stern critic of remote work, announced the pilot program deal with DC37 on Thursday, describing it as a sign that the “post-pandemic reality” is here to stay.
