Recently out of hospital, Pope Francis will miss Good Friday event in very cold Rome

Pope Francis, who was recently hospitalized for bronchitis, will not preside over Good Friday's late-night Way of the Cross event because of Rome's extremely cold weather, the Vatican said. Instead of presiding over the torch-lit procession at the Colosseum, Francis will watch from the hotel where he lives in the Vatican, the Holy See said.
