Improved Timber Creek boys weightlifters join elite company at FHSAA tournaments

Boys weightlifting district meets this week will showcase a number of Orlando area lifters who have made big improvements since last season. That includes Timber Creek junior Elvie Valmores and his senior teammate, Roman Rosado. Valmores, competing in the 129-pound weight class, totaled 455 pounds with his bench press and clean-and-jerk lifts to win at the recent Metro Conference East Division meet.
