Live updates: Mississippi governor declares state of emergency after tornadoes kill at least 26 people in two states

At least 26 people were killed when tornadoes swept through Mississippi and Alabama Friday night, officials said. Twenty-five of the 26 who died were in Mississippi, according to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. In announcing the higher death toll Saturday afternoon, MEMA said four people who were missing had been accounted for. Dozens more people were injured.... + full article
