BNSF train derails in Washington State, spilling 5,000 gallons of diesel on Swinomish Reservation

A BNSF train carrying diesel derailed early Thursday morning on the Swinomish Reservation near Anacortes, Wash., resulting in a leak of at least 5,000 gallons of the fuel, state officials said. No injuries were reported, the Washington Department of Ecology said in a statement Thursday morning.
