A man who shot and killed a Baton Rouge nursing student following a domestic dispute in 2017 has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.Thailand Brooks, 35, appeared in court Monday and state District Judge Brad Myers handed down the prison stint, according to 19th Judicial District Court records.Brooks pleaded guilty to manslaughter Feb. 2 in the killing of Asha Renee Davis.
