Saturday’s high school roundup: Scarborough’s Adam Bendetson wins 2-mile at New England championships

Adam Bendetson of Scarborough lowered his personal best by nearly six seconds as he won the 2-mile race Saturday at the New England high school indoor track championships Saturday in Boston. Bendetson, a senior, finished in 9 minutes, 13.99 seconds. His previous best time was 9:19.65. Matt Charpentier of York also set a personal best while finishing second in the shot put, and Miles Burr of Mt. Desert Island posted a pair of top-four results.... + full article
