Letters: New Orleans needs help beyond Mardi Gras season

I love New Orleans. I want to see the city and its residents prosper. I want it to keep its history intact and build new memories as well as look forward to a future with a substantial reduction in crime.I want to see the city pull off a great Mardi Gras season, but I’m having difficulty foreseeing it.
