A man accused of stabbing a fellow inmate while incarcerated at a Louisiana correctional facility in 2021 was found guilty of second-degree murder, District Attorney Tony Clayton said. Ernest Governor, 62, was convicted by a 12-member jury of stabbing Reynault Danos, 43, to death with a shank around 2:30 a.m. March 29, 2021.
