Pope Francis has denounced laws criminalizing same-sex relationships, saying God loves all his children as they are. “Being homosexual isn’t a crime,” Francis said Tuesday in an interview with The Associated Press. He also urged Catholic bishops who support such laws to welcome LGBTQ people into their church.
