Microsoft laying off 10,000 workers

Posted: Jan 18, 2023 / 09:05 AM CST Updated: Jan 18, 2023 / 09:16 AM CST SHARE Microsoft is cutting 10,000 workers, almost 5% of its workforce, in response to what it described as “macroeconomic conditions and changing customer priorities.” The company said in a regulatory filing Wednesday that had just notified employees of the layoffs, some of which will begin immediately.
