The missing element in Baton Rouge is the lack of intercity roads. I have long thought the traffic engineer in Shreveport should be hired away by Baton Rouge.Yes, Shreveport has 35,000 fewer citizens, but intracity travel is hands down better than Baton Rouge.We started traveling to Shreveport when my daughter and son lived there to attend school in the 1980s.
