HOCKEY Nick Jermain’s goal 2:40 into overtime gave the Maine Mariners a 4-3 win over the Trois-Rivières Lions in an ECHL season opener Friday night in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Grant Gabriele and Mathew Santos each got a power-play goal for Maine, and Nick Master put the Mariners ahead 3-2 early in the third. Master also set up the first two goals.
