Pride end season with 3-0 defeat at formidable OL Reign

The season came to a close for the Orlando Pride (5-10-7, 22 points) on Saturday evening with a 3-0 loss at the OL Reign (11-4-7, 40 points), who secured this season’s NWSL Shield with the result. The Reign were backed by a first-half surge, scoring all their goals within the first 31 minutes on tallies by Megan Rapinoe, Jordyn Huitema and Bethany Balcer. “Obviously a disappointing start to the game,” Pride interim coach Seb Hines said.... + full article
