Southern California is at the tail end of its mini-heat wave, with temperatures in some areas expected to reach triple digits on Wednesday before cooling off into the weekend. Some areas in the region — Riverside and San Bernardino counties — are also experiencing wet conditions, after thunderstorms started developing Wednesday afternoon.
