Some 11 million Cubans remain in the dark Wednesday after Hurricane Ian knocked out the power grid. Ian, which made landfall as a Category 3 storm Tuesday in Cuba’s Pinar del Rio province, first knocked out electricity for about 1 million people in the western provinces before wiping out the entire power grid, according to Electric Union.
